Day 23: Dornoch ~ Royal Dornoch Golf

We checked out of our rental in Inverness. Drove up the coast to Dornoch. A very quaint, little village, had lunch at the castle restaurant. We stopped at a local woolen store, Sonya and Jemi each bought a scarf and I picked up a rain hat. We checked in to our rooms at the door station hotel. Rooms are quite elegant, Jemi loved her fancy lodgings.

The bar with Scottish decor and full sized billiard table was stunning and a great place to relax.

I had a tee time at 2:40 PM, played with 3 gents from Canada. Course was punishing in the wind. My bag consisted of 8 clubs. Did not score well but enjoyed the experience. Not sure why the course is rated so high but can see the historical significance.

Joined the ladies for dinner at the Golden Gorse. Turned in for the night.
