Monday November 7th:
Dr appointment follow with Sonya at 11. Coaching call with Michael Mason at 1:30. Deer on the move in the afternoon. Jake stopped by to hang his buck head from 2021 season.
Tuesday November 8th:
Morning routine. 10 AM meeting with Tim Urban, biologist from KDWP, Hanna from Pheasants forever an EJ district forester for NE Kansas.
Went to town to vote, bank for cash loan for Jordan. Evening sit in West Bottoms stand. No game. Buck activity at pond camera.
Wednesday November 9th:
Worked all day cleaning out cubes with Nan. Tired after lunch. Nap. Went to pond with Jake and Henry, no fish.
Thursday November 10th:
Winterized pool, fuel run, Walmart, Menards, Orschlen. Finished clean up at shop barn. Weather changing, cold tomorrow. Put out cameras and put down some corn.
Friday November 11th:
Up with Sally at 6, temp 22 degrees. Coffee by the fireplace. Deer active on corn all night. 10 point buck on new camera set near the pond. Did some painting of cabin at night with reflections on water.
Saturday November 12th:
Looked at house ideas with Nan, Jack over for haircut, GG visit. Olivia making treats with Nan. Jake over to pick up gardening supplies for cleanup at church hall.
Sunday November 12th:
Bucks are on the move. Slept in tropical room last night. Cold frosty morning. Jake and family over, detailed his truck. Bucks running everywhere. Jordan got his buck at Brent Meyer’s land.
